Nevada ODP Shines at the Arizona ODP Championships

The Nevada Olympic Development Program proudly represented our state at the recent ODP Championships in Arizona, with teams across all age groups competing at a high level and demonstrating the continued growth, quality, and commitment of the Nevada ODP program. From the opening matches to the final whistle, Nevada ODP athletes played with passion, unity, and pride, reinforcing the strength of our player development pathway.

A special spotlight belongs to the Nevada U14 / 2012 Boys ODP team, who delivered an outstanding performance throughout the event and earned their place in the championship final. Coached by Jamie Harris, Head Coach at California Lutheran University, the team competed with composure, discipline, and determination, pushing the final match all the way to penalty kicks on one of the biggest stages in ODP competition.

While the final result did not go our way, the U14 Boys displayed exceptional character, resilience, and teamwork. Every player contributed with purpose, showcasing impressive technical ability, tactical awareness, and an unwavering commitment to one another. Reaching a championship final is never given—it is earned—and this achievement reflects the countless hours of preparation, sacrifice, and belief invested throughout the year by the players and coaching staff.

Beyond the U14 Boys’ inspiring run, all Nevada ODP teams made a meaningful impact at the Arizona Championships. Each team represented Nevada with class, intensity, and professionalism, contributing to the continued progress and rising standard of the Nevada ODP program.

We are extremely proud of how our players, coaches, and families represented Nevada. This experience will only strengthen our athletes as they continue their development, and the future of Nevada ODP remains exceptionally bright.

“Across every age group, Nevada ODP teams competed with pride, resilience, and unity—highlighted by the U14 Boys’ inspiring run to the championship final.”
